First off, an interesting find in the town of Saluda, on a building near the county courthouse. I highly doubt this is actually a siren, but even so it looks neat. If it is a siren, it's definitely not for a VFD, as Saluda doesn't have one.

Next, a Model 5 in Urbanna. A little bit of asking around at a nearby grocery store suggests that it's inactive.

This nice-looking Fedelcode Model 2 in the village of Waterview was a random find going off a hunch.

I also noticed this through one of the bay doors...

Next, the very first Virginia siren I mapped outside of Langley AFB's system - a Model 2 in Hartfield. It must not be that all that old, going by the labels.

This Model 5 in Deltaville is mounted in a similar way to Urbanna's, but there's one big difference - it's a 5T. I have no idea if it's active or not. A tornado came through town a few years ago, so it could theoretically be used as a storm siren.

Next, a Fedelcode Model 5 I recently found on street view in White Stone. The FD seems to be close to building a new station across the street, so this siren's days may be numbered.

Here's the highlight of the trip, as seen in the mystery thread. This probable Erick - the only one I've found in Virginia - sits atop a huge tower (taller than their new-ish station) behind Kilmarnock's VFD. Nobody was at the station, but appearances suggest it may very well be active. If it is, it's most certainly worth coming back for.

And finally, a nice STH-10 in Callao. I don't know if it's active, but a quick look at the meter says that it has power running to it. Going off the VFD's website, assuming no replacements have occurred in the intervening years, this siren has been here since at least 1960.

That's all from this trip - thanks for reading.
