I am 99% sure all of the sounds on his videos are synths, which I do not have a problem with, but passing them off as a real recording from a real place is most certainly NOT okay.

Could be; however I cannot tell (as I said, they were crappy speakers). Nonetheless, it is still a fake video for trying to pass it off as a recording.

When you watch his siren ambience videos you can automatically tell that it's fake. You can tell the video is fake because the siren video is being played of really low quality speakers. Plus the background noise in the house is more high quality then the actual siren itself.
