Thunderbolt mounting.

Thu Jul 17, 2014 9:13 pm

In the short time I've been on this board, I've seen all there types of the Thunderbolt series sirens mounted on roofs, poles and even water towers. But what i want to know is out of these three mounting types, which one is the most common?

I would have to say a tie between pole mounting and building mounting.

Pole, even though this is coming from personal experience. For the record, I'd say tower mounted ones are the rarest.

Thank you all for this information!

And i know this is off topic. But a few months back, i got a few pics of two of Dallas'es Thunderbolts. And i was wondering how one would post pictures on here?

If you're using a hosting service (ImageShack, Photobucket, etc.), it should give you a sharing option labelled "direct" or something similar. Just click the "Img" button in the toolbar above the message body, then copy and paste the direct link inside the code it gives you.

So, for example, this...

Code: Select all

...will generate this.

Hope this helps!

I just set up a Photobucket account, and it's kind of confusing
