Lucas County Sirens activate, but no warning was issued

Mon Aug 11, 2014 9:57 pm

Today, a nasty storm rolled into Lucas County. I had no idea the sirens were going off, until my sister called me and told me they were. I went outside and they were going off. I called the EMA and they said that somebody reported "rotation" near the town of Waterville and Swanton. Somebody also reported there was "rotation" in Sylvania Township. The conditions were not right for a tornado. The atmosphere is stable. What they saw was a low hanging scud or a rain shaft. Just people being ignorant and the sheriff not looking into it.

Either that or too many people watching "Storm Chasers."

Could of been worse, There could of been a tornado and the sirens never sounded until after the storm had past. Like they did in Hackett Ar, last summer.
Live's near a t-bolt when younger and was afraid of them, years later actively searches for them......Is there something wrong with me?
