Rare Decot found in WI

Aaron Nepstad, Silverdeloreon and I found this in Cadott, WI today.

Nice find! This is one of the newer Decots made between 1927 and 1940.

It seems like the rotor is missing. Still, can't argue with a find like that!

Am I the only one that notices 14 ports on the upper portion of the Stator? Looks as if it could be a 10/14 port model.

I think you may have not seen a port, so it's probably a 10/15. Who knows? And where can you see the 10 port side? I can't see the other stator.

Cool sighting. It looks to me like the top rotor is there just it is missing a stator. As for the bottom I not sure if there is a rotor & stator. It is to dark to tell down the bottom of the siren.

Negative. There is no top/bottom rotor. It is one double sided one piece rotor. The stator is one piece as well.same concept as a Denver Siren. This is why some believed for a long time Denver was bought out by Decot, however Decot was using this design at the same time Hendrie and Bolthoff was producing the Denver Sirens.
