Downtown Goshen, IN 2001-DC Weekly Test - 10/16/14

When Tyler's birthday falls on a Thursday...one must go to Elkhart County. This 2001 is located right in downtown near 3rd and Washington. The county alternates weeks between testing on AC and DC. It was a battery week in Elkco, and as you can hear the batteries in this one don't have much life left in them. This was one of the very first sirens of the "new system" to go up, in 1992. Sirens in Elkhart county are tested every Thursday at 2pm, by a computer, known colloquially as the "siren PC".
