Port ratio was 8/12 ports. One rotor was 8 ports and the other was 12 ports.

Somewhere in that ballpark. The motor speed on the tag usually isn't the exact speed the motor runs at; it may run slightly faster or slower depending on a variety of factors. By the sound of this one, it may be running a dozen RPM or so faster.

There are at least a couple Sound Masters in Colombia Heights. In fact there is one that I know of that even has damper assemblies installed on the intakes.
