McKinney, TX CD-era system?

Thu Mar 12, 2015 4:55 pm

McKinney is of course known for their current Whelen system, which always runs some European tone. I'd like to know...does anybody know what they had before the Whelens and after the Denver?

I'm not sure if McKinney had anything at all before the Whelens went in. A lot of towns in the Metroplex were barely a dot on the map until the population explosion beginning in the 90s.

Don't think they had any sirens before either. BTW Sunnyvale,TX uses that Euro tone also on it's 4004's.

The only siren I know of that was in McKinney was on the water tower and was removed and sitting on the ground for a long time. See this idiot's web page.......http://www.civildefensemuseum.com/sirens/sirenpx.html

So you knew when you posted what they had before, put it in the post, then removed it, then asked in the post what they had before????
.....which resulted in me wasting my time answering with the link to my pictures of the Denver and you replying that you knew it all along.....
Thanks at least for stating that you knew all along so I now know to ignore anything that you post on the board from now on...
