There are a few rotational Soundmasters, along with a 10/12 port Allertor and an STH-10 in New Hampton.

The Iowa City area seemed to be Whelen country from what I saw. Off I-380 there's even a 2810 and a 2910 in fairly close proximity to each other - could be interesting if someone filmed there someday. I know the Amana Colonies do not have anything except for an old Darley on the big factory there.

Cedar rapids NE has an erick siren that sounds more than once in a day.
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

I've always loved that setup they have. Someone really took some time to construct that tower they're on back in the day, looks more like a work of art rather than just a functional tower. It's just too bad it's somewhat hidden away instead of being somewhere more visible!

I have a question for moderators: Since this post yielded such useful and comprehensive information, I was considering posting a new topic just like this one for Iowa (and maybe a few other states). My concern is cluttering up the forum with these kinds of topics. Should I stay away from starting another thread or is it okay?? I just don't want to abuse a privilege by asking for info without really having anything to contribute.
