Judging by that mounting plate on top of that pipe, that is indeed a former Thunderbolt roost.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

Of all the dual toned sirens I've ever heard that have been said to sound like a "leaf blower", this one takes the cake. It literally sounds almost exactly like an older two-stroke commercial leaf blower running at full speed. Still sounds pretty menacing though, it would be interesting to hear it (or another with the same tone) running in the wail/attack signal.

It kind of sounds like a 4/5 port thunderbolt siren, but much quieter. I personally think that these sirens look cooler than the whelen 3016.

The only mechanical siren i know of that sounds remotely similar to this is a 7/10 port HOR. 4/5 Thunderbolts and model 2T's sound like an 8/10 siren, more like a Hurricane, but a bit deeper.

I thought the same thing. Was pretty surprised actually. Expected it to be single tone and sound kinda cheesy like an ATI or something. First time I ever heard one of these, let a lone a dual-tone one.

Sounds like this Allertronic could just use a cough drop. That'll probably make its day easier.

Somebody give that Alertronic a snickers bar. It's not itself when it's hungry.
