Just curious, where are Rolling Meadow's 5 sirens located at? I have 3 mapped: the one you recorded, the T-128 at the Holiday Inn, and the Allertronic at the Heather Ct. and Plum Tree Ln. I'm missing 2.
Sirens, they're loud!

There is another 1600 southeast of Hicks Road and Winnetka Avenue, in the back of the parking lot. There's also an RM-130 on Golf road at the pump station behind Portillos. And you know how much I like Portillos

The one by the lift station on Greenwood Ct (the Heather/Plum Tree location) is a RM-130, not an Allertronic. Ah darn, Noie beat me to the locations of the other two!

It's kind of neat that this is on an old Thunderbolt mount. There is a Whelen in Lincoln Park, Michigan on their city hall that is on an old thunderbolt mount too if I am not mistaken.

At the risk of sounding like a kiddie with Thunderbolt dreams, I must ask the question... are these indeed coming down and being replaced or was the T-128 that was added due to a failure in that particular Alertronic?? I can't and won't lie that this to me is the Holy Blessed Grail of sirens and I want to add one to my collection....if I manage to obtain one I fully intend to get the Jailbar Thunderbolt guy to come up and make me an Alertronic 1600-R video in the same fashion :D J/K

I could've sworn I saw an Aerial image of an Allertronic there. Sure it wasn't recently replaced?

Just a little ways from Rolling Meadows is a town called Inverness, and they have a thunderbeam by their water tower. It might be defunct though. Anyone know any info? (Sorry but a bit off topic)

Funny you bring up the Thunderbeam....I went to go record it yesterday!

It is actually in Palatine, and is part of their system. It did not go off. I contacted them and they said that siren has been inactive for quite some time. There is a newer 2001-130 about half-mile NW of this one. Last time I heard the Thunderbeam was a couple years ago.
