If you had a Hurricane 130 Round horn (lets be honest, you probably don't) could you cut off the horn and fit
a square horn? Or would it not be the same?
Also, who on this board owns a Hurricane?

Asking will get you very far here!
Here's a thread on the moderator's gem: https://airraidsirens.com/forums/viewto ... f=2&t=9381Vey198885 wrote:Logan_Michael_612 wrote:Well, to be honest, a few members here own hurricanes. SQUARE HORNED OHH MMMAA GOOSHHH!!
Ok... now i've calmed down...is there a post regarding the square horned hurricane?
Wasn't as efficient as the round horn. It's fiberglass and was complicated and expensive to make.Startug wrote:
Either way, the Square Horn is really interesting and reminds me so much of a Thunderbolt. Was it simply not practical?
Makes sense. Seems more like a novelty idea though and I can see why collectors would want one.connerdstines wrote:Wasn't as efficient as the round horn. It's fiberglass and was complicated and expensive to make.Startug wrote:

The round horn is fiberglass. I don't see why the H-130 horn would be any harder or more expensive to make than the MK-II round horn.Wasn't as efficient as the round horn. It's fiberglass and was complicated and expensive to make.
