For those of you who have experience with installing sirens, particularly older models such as Thunderbolts, XT22s, Model Xs, Allertors, etc. I assume you have at some point had to have your work inspected by an electrical inspector? By code and NFPA, all things in the electrical trade must have a UL listing somewhere affixed to what ever that item may be like illuminated signs, conduit, boxes, connectors, appliances, electronics, you name it. My enclosures for my 3T22 carry no sticker or label of any kind that says it is a listed enclosure. We've been discussing this in code class very extensively. My instructor's inspector checks very carefully to make sure those enclosures are listed, as well our the one in my area. If he does not see the symbol, he will not pass you. Anyone here had this issue while installing sirens?
