Hmm, thanks. I'll mark it as a mystery and make a note to visit it in the field at some point.

And now, yet another submission...

freebrickproductions sent this little guy in for the VA map. It looks to me like a small Federal of some sort, but I'm not quite sure...thoughts?

That would be a Federal Model 1, which is a pretty awesome find since that now makes only three that I've ever seen in existence.

EDIT: I see Dennis beat me to it! ;)

Wow...I had inklings of that, but they're so rare I dismissed it. I'm going to see if I can make a field visit this weekend.

Thank you! :)

That's a W.S. Darley "Champion" siren, looks to be their 5 horsepower model and likely has either 8 or 12 ports. They're rather unique compared to most other vertically-oriented sirens, whereas these have the motor on top and the chopper on the bottom (draws air in underneath the cast base). Those are neat old sirens and you don't often see them anymore.

Like the guy above me said, a Darley Champion. I am replying to ask this question, is that your siren??
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.

Wasn't there a photograph from the factory a while back showing six-port models?

EDIT: I knew Daniel had posted it, but sadly the photo has disappeared.

Here you go! I saved it on my phone. This doesn't fact have a 6 port rotor, but I would assume the motor would operate at twice the RPMs In comparison to a siren with a 12 port rotor.

Mystery Machine has one that he was restoring, not too sure on where he's at in the process of it. He posted pictures of it on here, but they disappeared. Here is a link to his Facebook page with pictures of the siren broken down. Very unique siren.
