Here's a siren at the Baltic Fire Department that struck to me as odd. No idea if it's still active, but I want to guess it's a Darley. Can anyone confirm this for me?

I think it's a chimney cap...

I wasn't sure if it was or not. It'd be a dead giveaway for that since it is on a chimney, but from Google maps it looks like it could be a siren. Could be that I'm wrong though.

It's some variation of a Darley. Darley is sometimes known to have their motors above their rotors.

Looks like a Darley Model 2 "helmet" with a homemade cover.

Most sirens have an eyebolt (hook), because in most cases, a crane is the easiest and most convenient way to lift a siren to the top of a building.

To stay on topic, I will say that the siren most recently pictured is more than likely a Darley siren of some sort, as many members prior to me have stated. I will say, however, that the shape seems too slender to be one of the older, larger 6-port variants.

Notice the large, flat base. It is identical to that of the small Darley "helmet" siren. These were about the size of a Model 2 but had six ports and the motor on top.

Can anyone identify this? If it is a siren, I think it might be a Decot, but I still have my doubts.
