2t22 With a Rain Cover, and missing projector horn

Thu Nov 12, 2015 4:40 pm

Hey all! Ive had an account on this forum before I completely forgot the username and password. So I created a new one...

Living in West Virginia, I have realized that most if not all of the sirens here are old ones. Mostly fed sig. Here in Morgantown, we have multiple STL-10's for its system.

While driving back from a Fly Fishing trip, within a span of an hour, we saw 2 3t22's (one was missing the whole bottom set of projectors), 3 STH-10's, and the best of all this 2t22 in Kingwood, WV. Its strange because it has a Large top (home made I believe), and was missing a horn on the bottom. Has anyone ever seen something like this?

Sorry for the sub-par pictures, it was not light out and my phones camera has been acting up lately. I will get pictures of all these sirens when I head back to my fishing spot.

Cool photos. Looks like the 2T22 wanted to become a Cyclone 125.

Likely not, it would be taller and have a rim around the edge if it was. Cyclones are beasts when it comes to reliability, so if one even failed i doubt they just cannibalized the "hat" off of it to use on this 2T22.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

Yeah.. people do all kinds of crazy stuff to a 2T22's, there was 1 post a few months ago of one with a TARP over it! I'm not even kidding! Nice find!
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.
