When does Ozaukee and Sawyer counties in WI test their sirens

Fri Jul 31, 2015 8:34 pm

I would like to know when Ozaukee and Sawyer counties (Sheboygan, Grafton, Kohler, Port Washington, etc.) test their sirens since I'll be in that area since I got tickets to see the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler and maybe along the way I could go record a siren if they test them around that time!

Kohler and Sheboygan (Sheboygan County) test every other Wednesday at 11:00 am Port Washington test I think every Saturday at 12:30 Grafton I think tests with Theinsville and Mequon witch is every day at 12:00 am for a noon growl. I test my siren every day at 12:00 am for a growl test.

Edit : I think Plymouth - 15 min to the west of Sheboygan does a growl at noon everyday. Manitowoc County tests every Saturday at noon it is about 30min to the the north of sheboygan.

Port Washington is at 12 on Saturdays, I think I started the 12:30 rumour and it was wrong (my bad).

Ok so I was wrong both times!!!!!! All I remember was that I was visiting friends and they started going off. I must have mixed up the time. Sorry guys! Oh and PS sorry for the bump but I don't visit often anymore and if I have something to add I intend on doing it :) I forgot to ask, wasn't there a siren replacement that took place downtown?

Yes the P-15 on top of the one hill near downtown was replaced by a T-128. There's still two P-15's left and an Allertor as far as I know.

Here's my map of the sirens in Ozaukee county including Port Washington and you'll see what I mean: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit? ... SdezzQ-9bU

Mequon is every Saturday at Noon
Cedarburg is the 4th Saturday at noon
Grafton I think is the last Saturday at noon
Saukville is the 1st Friday at 1 (April through October)
