Yeah, those stators with integrated horns definitely says Type B. The port covers are missing and it looks like the motor cover has been slightly improvised.

Not sure if it's a vent or a siren, but it looks like a siren to me, especially with the radio antenna being on the same tower. The question is, what is it?
I have photos now...this vaguely reminds me of a Decot or SoundMaster.

Model 20. A 10/12 one from the looks of it.
Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

Probably 9/12 since that seems to be the only dual toned ratio on those that has been seen yet. One never knows for sure though, could be other port ratio options out there for those that hasn't been discovered, as could be the case here. Still really cool to see what the chopper design looks like on these, they look very "Sterling"-esque with the long, narrow ports.

Man, someone needs to get this...back on topic, I have to agree, it looks to be 9/12.

I found these two mysteries while on holiday to Penang. (There are no spoiler options, so the images are HUGE)

This siren has a green control box that's rather large. Looks like a shop built siren.

Then we have this siren which resembles a short-horned Hormann. I suspect it is a Hormann, but I just want to be sure.

The siren in Winchester, VA looks very similar to Farmland, Indiana's old siren. It was a dual head vertical 9-12 port Fedelcode made in 1959.
Federal made dual head versions of the vertical Fedelcode siren when someone requested a siren larger than the standard Model 5. This siren was not a common request so it was never touted in most of Federal's advertisements.
Most of them were drawn from the same parts pool as the Models 3 and 5, but the dual tone version used a unique set of fans (choppers) to comply with Civil Defense guidelines. The reason it's such a rare siren is because most towns were already happy with the Model 5, SD-10, and other standard models.

Farmland's siren was blown down in 2007 and replaced with a Sentry. Here is a photo from years ago, hosted by another ARS member. Their siren was painted red and white.

It's another Federal Model 20.

P.S All the 9/12 Model 20 videos seem to be missing

I've never seen any advertisements or catalog listings explicitly calling it a "Model 20" - however I'm always willing to overview material that mentions this name. What I do have on hand suggests these sirens were 10 horsepower. I'll post more in another write-up thread.

The 9-12 port siren's video was hosted on the Farmland fire department site, which has since been removed.

While we're on the subject of my recent road trip, is this thing even a siren, or a glorified vent? I'm leaning glorified vent, but better to be safe than sorry...

It showed up at the West Hazleton, PA fire department.
