After walking around the downtown area, I decided to visit some defunct/former CD siren locations that survived Katrina (courtesy of Brendan W)
First was a Shroudless long legged Model 2T located across from a small FD at the intersection of Franklin & Martinez. Power still runs to the siren, but obviously not in use anymore.

Next location was just over a mile from the intersection of Franklin & Martinez. It was next to a water treatment plant (IIRC) at 5701 Warrington Dr.
Another long legged Model 2(T?) but this one has the housing mostly intact. However, it has the same deal: still connected, but no longer used.

And last but not least was the remnants of a Thunderbolt. Located at the confusing intersection of Elysian Fields and N. Claiborne.
While the entire siren itself vanished ages ago, the crusty RCM and power box still remain along with 3 wooden poles. The question as to how this siren was mounted remains unanswered.

Well, that's all for the pictures. I took these with my new iPhone 6s, so the quality may not be the best in the world.
