I know Wright City, MO has those a Model 5/7 on a water tower next to that Sentry and the town said if someone was willing to remove it, it was theirs. You could always try for that one!

That Wright City water tower siren removal looks like an expensive job. Definitely going to need a crane. Thank you everyone for the St Charles county siren activation info. On a side note I wonder if Lincoln county is going to add sirens with all the development going on there. I see a number of Sentrys along 61 and a couple 2001s in Troy. But that area is growing fast population wise.

Yeah i'm expecting that removal to cost at least a 1,000 dollars. I could see Lincoln county adding a couple of 16V1T-B's or 20V1T's

Well, when I dream about getting abandoned sirens on poles/water towers/roofs, I ALWAYS check to make sure the power is disconnected, because if it isn't, you would probably get yourself seriously hurt or even killed trying to disconnect it, also it would leave a exposed wire. And on the other note, I would imagine trying to get it by taking the parts off.. but the thing about that is, Model 5's are in the 500 pound range I believe.. so my strategy of dreaming to get a siren would best fit a abandoned thunderbolt. Good luck getting the 5!
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.
