ya the one next to the water tower is our daily siren. Would anyone happen to have a manual to one of those? Also how do you think of the shape its in? I dont ever remember of that siren or the other one ever being worked on. I will try to get a recording tonite at six if its possible.

This would be Bruning, Nebraska. Here's a closeup picture I have of the Fedelcode Model 5 I took when I was going through town on September 6th, 2010. I actually used to use this photo as my avatar on this forum.

Thats cool man is that the same model as the one next to the fire hall? Also what were you doing in Bruning?

Yes and no about being the same model. They are both Model 5s. But the one at the fire hall has was from W.S. Darley, a company that sells fire and emergency equipment. The other one is a Fedelcode Model 5. Fedelcode was the name Federal Electric (now Federal Signal) used for their sirens at the time. But the sirens are pretty much the same once you get the housings off.

As for being in Bruning, I was just passing by on 81 and decided to stop and see what there were for sirens.
