Wisconsin sirens

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:55 am

Went with my dad to go to Muscoda to visit my grandpa for Father's Day. The following sirens I saw on our way up.

Argyle: Federal Eclipse 8
Mineral Point: ACA Banshee and federal modulator
Richland Center: 2 Federal 2001's
Cobb: Federal 2001

I always like going on trips to visit my Grandparents, the diverse sirens along the way are interesting to take a picture of.

There is a huge list everybody has seen, but I'll say it again.
In my county (Schenectady, its 2nd smallest in NYS):
-2 STL-10s
-3 STH-10s
-1 2001-SRN-DC thing
-2 Model 2s
-1 black (once yellow) jailbar thunderbolt (decommissioned)
-2 SD-10s (one decommissioned)
In Hamilton county, there is 2 sirens I know of:
-1 Model 5
-1 Model 2
There are more sirens in Hamilton county, but I need to look more.
Where my grandparents live (in my previous post):
-1 Model 2
On the way there:
-2 (At most) Model 2s
-1 sentry mount
-1 tiny HOR 2
-2 (at least. STH-10s
-1 STL-10
-2 Whelen 4004s
That is all I know of.

Sorry to bump this post, but where was the modulator in Mineral Point?

The Modulator was roof-mounted on the auditorium building. There used to be another Modulator in Cobb but it is gone after its motherboard developed troubles a few years ago.

Cobb also has a Federal Signal EOWS 1212 at the park. I remember when I was little it would play the Westminster chime everyday at noon.

Forgot to mention that Broadhead had 2 3T22'sand a thunderbolt 1003. Darlington has an STL-10 in the center of town along with a 3T22 by the water tower. South Wayne and Gratiot also have 3T22's as well. Richland Center has a 3T22 as well by the water treatment plant.
