My recently acquired Fedelcode Model 2

Mon Oct 24, 2016 11:11 pm

Today, I acquired a Fedelcode Model 2. This siren was a fire siren at the Sparta Township Fire Department in Cromwell, IN. However, this siren was shut off when the department got pagers. This siren sat underneath a Model 5 on a tower until 2014 or 2015 when the tower was removed, then the station was demolished. This was to make way for a bigger station, and a T-121.

Was interested in the Model 5, but I was unable to get it since they wanted to keep it. Luckily, the Model 2 was in storage. So the guy I got with had me pick up the siren at his house.

Needless to say it's VERY rusty, and it's going to be tough but fun to restore this.

In my opinion, I think there way too many 2001's in Indiana!
