Hello Everybody


I have found a sick :TBolt: siren in Roberts, WI and I don't know whats going on with it. I was under it and the blower was fluctuating rapidly.

It did not sound good AT ALL!!

From what I could hear (at the end, especially) the blower was holding a steady pitch. Unless there is a blower video (saw someone standing near the base), then we'll never know. The chopper seems to have worn out brushes and collector rings, and the short wind down is from bad bearings.

I've always wondered how that one sounded, I drive by it occasionally. I agree with Jake, seems like it needs new brushes, bearings and the collector rings cleaned.

You are totally right. In 1 year that thing got VERY sick. I hope it gets repaired.
