Sterling Colorado takes down their Thunderbolt

Yesterday a crane crew came and yanked her off its perch and the structure it sat on. I can confirm as of this afternoon, the head, blower, and platform hasnt been scrapped.

The old city hall which it was mounted on, is for sell, so im guessing thats the reason for its removal. As previously mentioned in other posts, Tyler Shaw recorded this.

Oh dear, so sad to see an old siren go that way. at least they could have been gentle.
