The sirens get weekly silent tests, all initiated from Seabrook Station and Rockingham County Sheriff's Office Dispatch. There are multiple control points throughout the county, primary being Seabrook Station itself, Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, and State of New Hampshire IPOC in Concord. Individual fire departments within the 10 mile EPZ have encoders as well that they can use as additional control points and for local warning/alerting.
The only reason they had a full test was as part of a public demo, as no one had heard them for many years. There is nothing that can't be gleamed from the silent tests they do weekly to track down problems. The sirens communicate back to Seabrook Station via DTMF for errors/issues. The siren maintenance group also does yearly PMs on the sirens, so they get a hands on pretty regularly as well.
