Sirens being suggested in Calif. fire impacted areas

Fri Nov 10, 2017 2:18 am

2 of my interests are being pushed as "Old technology" solutions to help in future firestorms: Outdoor sirens and Amateur radio.

THIS is why you should NEVER try to push new technologies that haven't been demonstrated (like the old technologies have been.) im half tempted to send this to the tillimook government because I have a bit of a concern over it. Most of the places in Oregon that took their sirens down still have one that can be heard everywhere (the volunteer fire sirens) if/when their alternative technologies fail. But I don't believe tillimook does anymore...
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.
