
I'd recommend you actually write something instead of using 2 letters on a new topic. Anyways here is a picture of my hand next to a 6024B (Mod II). Either though the cells are skinnier then the original 6024, you could probably imagine how big the original Modulator would be.
I know this isn't it but it still gives you a good sense of scale. The old 6024/32/48s were enormous.
I'm pretty sure they're painted like that so the effects of the weathering on the metal aren't as obvious, since it's not so easy to tell with a darker color.
