I'm not sure if this is a Federal Signal 2001-130 or other, but I hope someone can figure out.
BTW:This siren is painted like a cow because where I live we call them COWS or County Outdoor Warning Sirens
3rd gen. The 3rd gen had the larger motor housing cone but the 2001SRN ID tag still on the left or right side of the rotator box from previous generations as opposed to the 4th gen, which had the ID tag on the back of the square back assy. box in the center, where the ID tag has been ever since, being in the same location on the subsequent SRNB and current 2001-130 and 2001 Equinox. The 4th gen -SRN was made in the late 90's-early 2000's right before the 2001-SRNB debuted in 2003. Small logo SRNs are hard to discern at a glance between third and fourth generation models, but can be identified by the placement of the ID tag on the siren. In this case, the ID tag is on the rotator box, indicating it is a third generation model.
There are 4 models of the SRN. The 1st and 2nd gen models have large FS logos, the later 3rd and 4th have small ones.MexicanMonstur666 wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 11:14 pmDo all 2001-srn have a small logo in the middle, because this siren doesn't have any logo
