I'm willing to bet the other sirens on the map that are removed are ED bullard sirens.Remingtoncountry wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:35 pmThat is an E. D. Bullard siren. I read somewhere some rotated but I've never seen one. That could be the last rotational Bullard in existence.. Im willing to bed Sacramento has dozens of Bullard sirens scattered on buildings down town.
I have found where the siren setup is at. I have cross referenced the photo provided and produced the siren is at the N/NE edge of the trout hatchery, roughly at 34.139343, -84.091168.bobcat418 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 4:31 amI found this whilst looking for the Buford Dam water release sirens at Lake Lanier in a Gwinett Times article. The sirens can be heard in the video below along with an image from the article. The sirens sound when water is released from the dam and there are four sirens located between the dam and the GA-20 bridge although exact locations are not known. Here is the article:
UPDATE: From what I have seen, these look to be Altec Lansing Mantaray MR42s with DSA2s behind the large horns. Now just to find them

I believe the DSAs could have replaced some componenets to the initial setup. The original setup (went up in 1985 by the way) had 7 of those speakers. Perhaps some could have burned out and got replaced as time went on.freebrickproductions wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 5:23 amWonder why the DSA's there? Seems kinda pointless given the presence of the larger (and likely louder) horns...
That is a good guess, but it is not. I have found out that it is actually a Federal Model 5/7 with the louvers trimmed back for whatever reason (and forgot to update my post. yay me). Your giveaways are the housing support bar, and the guy in the photo is holding the access door that goes on the side of the housing.
