There are a few though. Currently active in the pnw we have: 2 2001s maybe more... We may have that stinking thunderbolt that I can't find up in Astoria... Inland we have a few more 2001s and thunderbolts... We may have some up near the NPP up in Washington. A couple of the universities still seem to have a few active ones and they may rotate... Anyways for ones that used to be... We had 3 thunderbolts in waldport and a bigger system in Westport. Seattle and Spokane (where the waldport thunderbolts came from) had their own system as well... Opening the range of the PNW you will find a ton of 2001s. (San Luis obispo area).siren fan wrote:I've noticed there's not alot of rotating sirens on the west coast....
That must be the square one. Boy that's interesting... I was going to ask you: the buell horn pic... Is that what the Portland ones looked like.Daniel wrote:This old video lets you hear the three Gold Beach sirens, sounding in an awesome 4/4 second attack signal. The house where this was recorded (I found the house) is a block away from the square siren.

The square siren is the loudest one in the video. It is on a pole in the block directly behind the house where the video was shot. The skirtless Sentry is about 1/2 mile south, and the Model 3 about a mile south.coastalsyrolover wrote:
