There was no problem with CompuLert. This siren's controls have been effected more than once buy water entering the cabinet. The County is budgeting for the replacement.

"Christine Westrich, director of the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management, explained water damage inside of a siren control box caused the malfunction.
Steady rain was falling Saturday night when people in the Hales Corners area first alerted 12 News to the problem.
Westrich said crews were able to disarm the siren remotely from a computer system.
As an added measure, Westrich said workers went to the siren site and turned off power.
Westrich said only one siren malfunctioned, but added people in many areas likely heard it because the siren rotates.
The Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management manages 58 sirens in the county.
Original Story:
The National Weather Service in Milwaukee confirmed storm and tornado sirens sounded Saturday night in several Southeast Wisconsin communities.”

Most likely not, ASC headquarters is right there and the problem is most likely easily remedied.
