Are Vixen Horn manual crank sirens worth the money?

I was looking at this one to buy one day. https://www.amazon.com/Vixen-Horns-130d ... 075&sr=8-8 I just tried cranking a 30 dollar siren that my boss bought. He bought this one. https://www.amazon.com/Homend-Operated- ... 657&sr=8-4 That one has the not so good sound of ball bearings rattling when you start to wind up the siren. It make it sound very shoddy and cheap. Does the vixen horns siren have this issue?

I would say yes, I have one my self, but I have a different type than the link.

No, they aren't worth 40/30 bucks. The gears wear very easily.
Otherwise, the chopper/stator assembly is very much worth the money, I would recommend running it with compressed air. It makes it much louder.

I don't think you should buy either...
I think you should buy an MS-390. But if you want to take you're chances at a Homend, do it. I'm not stopping you.

They are all basically the same model, so I wouldn't say its different for either.

(Well looking at Amazon's website is what this guy was looking for. Was going for 214 $. Checking the images on both products I noticed some major differences.)

(overall i think the 200$ one is clearly the better choice although it may be a little bit on the overpriced side of things. I think this is a great starter siren for anyone getting into being a siren enthusiast .)
