I don't think so. They were there for construction and were probably removed when it was done.
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

NYC is in DIRE need of a siren system. They may not have a risk of tornados but so many other disasters can hit the city.

Sirens wouldn't be useful because of the buildings surrounding it, meaning that many sirens would have to be installed per mile or even less to be effective
