Is anyone going to add the EOWS 612s near the lake? It would be really nice to have actual photo evidence of these sirens. I don't go boating too much lately, due to school.
P.S: Is anyone going to record the April 2021 Harris test? I am.
Those were removed (AFAIK).
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

There was discussion about it somewhere. You were actually part of it, if I recall correctly.

Added, thanks! And they are mounted on 40' concrete poles so they really aren't low, at least I don't think so.

While on a rafting trip, i noticed a Model 2 on top of the Duke Energy Walters Hydroelectric plant. It's used to warn rafters of when the plant is about to open up the floodgates, releasing lots of water and creating a hazardous environment for them. It's located at 35°46'28.46"N 83° 5'58.36"W, just inside the North Carolina state line. You can also see it from streetview.

Camp Lejeune

Here's what I could find while scrambling around Camp Lejeune's area. I couldn't find any other sirens outside of Camp Lejeune's area. And yes, this is a pretty long reply.

Marine Corps Air Station

-- Possibly missing one siren in the area without coverage of which I cannot locate

34.70302, -77.44023 - Cooper/Hormann

34.71451, -77.46174 - Cooper/Hormann

34.7236, -77.47304 - Cooper/Hormann

34.726, -77.44597 - Whelen (an odd ball)

34.7198, -77.44253 - Cooper/Hormann

34.72204, -77.43124 - Possibly a Cooper/Hormann (I'm unsure)

Tarawa Terrace (and the nearby unmarked area)

34.73719, -77.37183 - Cooper/Hormann

34.73463, -77.36783 - Cooper/Hormann

34.73133, -77.37303 - Cooper/Hormann

34.7334, -77.38003 - Cooper/Hormann

34.73033, -77.38883 - Cooper/Hormann

34.74006, -77.39075 - Cooper/Hormann

34.73349, -77.40579 - Cooper/Hormann

Midway Park

34.72858, -77.33984 - Cooper/Hormann

34.7206, -77.32953 - Cooper/Hormann

Naval Medical Center (and the nearby suburban area)

-- This area is for sure incomplete.

34.71989, -77.36036 - Cooper/Hormann

34.71086, -77.34326 - Cooper/Hormann

34.70728, -77.36557 - Cooper/Hormann

34.70598, -77.38054 - Cooper/Hormann

34.70311, -77.37562 - Cooper/Hormann

Camp Lejeune (main area)

34.58895, -77.37309 - Cooper/Hormann

34.58561, -77.36466 - Cooper/Hormann

34.58561, -77.36466 - Cooper/Hormann

Other Large Unmarked Area

-- This for sure is incomplete too.

34.6763, -77.36571 - Cooper/Hormann

34.67314, -77.35724 - Cooper/Hormann

34.67314, -77.35724 - Cooper/Hormann

34.67314, -77.35724 - Cooper/Hormann

34.64435, -77.30769 - Cooper/Hormann

Last note, majority of the Cooper/Hormann's appear 8 horns, as a few appear to have 2 or even 4 horns. It's hard to tell due to the satellite view being on a strange offset within Camp Lejeune's area.
