Hi all, does anybody know what this siren is? Looks like a model 5/7 but with long legs?

I'm thinking it might be a Grifco.SirensOfAustralia wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 11:37 pmHi all, does anybody know what this siren is? Looks like a model 5/7 but with long legs?

Where have you seen an Australian siren in America?championsiren wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 3:12 pmI wouldn't just slap "grifco" on there. It appears to have a chopper around the same size as a Model 7 and it also appears to have a support bar coming from the stator assembly going up into the shroud. It might be a Model 7 with a custom shroud. (Don't say that it's unreasonable for a siren to get shipped all the way there. I've seen several examples of sirens from Australia in America and vice versa.)
I've seen a couple model 7s, a presumed cyclone, and new Whelens (Vortexes I believe) are being installed every year.10V2T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 9:50 pmWhere have you seen an Australian siren in America?championsiren wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 3:12 pmI wouldn't just slap "grifco" on there. And hey, the 888 was based off of the Model 2, so that technically counts as an American siren. And there's like 500 of those.
