I've made and tested a 3D-printed replica of my Model 5. I'd like to revisit the design again now that I have a new printer. Maybe I'll try it with vapor-smoothed ABS next time!

That would have to be a giant machine to print something that big! What printer do you have? Petg is best for outdoor sirens and it prints better for me atleast. If I have stringing problems I just hit the part with a heat gun

Ohhh it wasn't a full-size replica. It's actually about the size of a tin can. I used a cheap hobby motor from Lowes to spin it, powering it with an assortment of batteries. I printed that on a Monoprice Select Mini V2.

I currently have an Ender 5 Plus, which is big enough that it should be able to print parts for a Model 2 without having to split individual parts into separate pieces to screw or glue together. I asked about Model 2 parts drawings and dimensions in the past so that I could draw one up in CAD, but no one obliged me unfortunately. But that's okay too, as that allows me to do my own thing anyway

I'll say sir, you're very skilled at building mini sirens. Did you ever think about selling them? That sentry thingy looks quite good.

well it is a 40v2t and im taking one 2 steps forward and one back when building it... than the printer has a meltdown..........
