Here's that sentry I was talking about.
It is a Fire siren and it was installed in 1985.10V2T wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 5:34 pmSeems to have replaced a Model 2, really interestingchampionsiren wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:44 pmhttps://www.google.com/maps/@39.7109825 ... 384!8i8192

What's its use it doesn't seem to be near any fire departments
It looks like it was installed somewhere between 2008 and 2019championsiren wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 6:31 pmIt is a Fire siren and it was installed in 1985.10V2T wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 5:34 pmSeems to have replaced a Model 2, really interestingchampionsiren wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:44 pmhttps://www.google.com/maps/@39.7109825 ... 384!8i8192

It wasn't. It has a "Sterling Quality Siren" tag and is rusting and the paint is very faded.10V2T wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:38 pmIt looks like it was installed somewhere between 2008 and 2019
But the street view from 2008 shows a Model 2.championsiren wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 12:00 amIt wasn't. It has a "Sterling Quality Siren" tag and is rusting and the paint is very faded.
That's true! I wonder if it was an extra siren the department had. That thing is WAY too old-looking to be from 10 years ago.10V2T wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 10:52 amBut the street view from 2008 shows a Model 2.championsiren wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 12:00 amIt wasn't. Yeah, it definitely looks old. It could have been donated from a different department too, because the Sterling quality tag definitely allude to its age.championsiren wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 11:58 amThat's true! Accident, MD used to have a yellow 3V8 before they got it replaced with a very new Model 2. It could be that one.
