can you make a whelen wps-4004? it would be direct-wired like a real one you would just need an Arduino micro an Arduino Uno 4 pushbuttons a toggle switch and 5 microswitches for rotation.
you would have 2 microswitches for each direction in the home position these will be the microswitches A1andA2. then there will be 1 switch for each of the 3 other directions microswitches C-D.
program the occultation control with an Arduino micro so when the counterclockwise microswitch A1 is pressed it will rotate clockwise than when the clockwise microswitch A2 is pressed It will go counter-clockwise. shove the arduino micro in the rotator box for pretention. and now the siren will rotate back and forth like a real whelen.
then you would just wire the output of all 5 of the directional sensing switches to an easily accessible Arduino uno with the direction output for A1 and A2 wired together with diodes and 4 buttons wired for the north/B east/C south/D and west/A1-A2 directional controls. than a switch wired for normal on-off rotation toggle control. wire all 4 of the speakers to an amplifier and then you are all set to go and annoy some neighbors.
