I bet you didn't know that that's Archon's siren. I wouldn't go around blurting out crap like that until you are sure of who you are dealing with.

I agree. Think before you say stuff. Even I can do that. and Joe is
very knowlegible when it comes to sirens. most likely a lot more
than you!

Let's see
1. The siren weights about 250lbs. It's a Sterling 2V8 3HP It's a little hard to carry it up a ladder. The 2T weights about 60lbs That I could carry up the ladder.
2. It was never hooked into the county's system even tho I would love that, they use ASC compualert system. I have a AR timer.
3. The siren (2V8) Was bolted to a big piece of table top not the pourch. This was done so it would not walk when on.
4. IT was conected to 120volts The siren would have only gone up to 1/2 speed. It's a 240 volt siren It being that low I would not have run it full force. The 2T is run at full voltage but it is on top of the apt building.
5. I traded the 2V8 for a dual tone Denver.

And I spay painted my TB controller box YELLOW and I did it on my pourch. Hey the pourch Needs to be painted anyway so why do I need to be careful when it is going to get coved anyway. And who is going to see it I'm on the 2nd floor.
