Similar concept of an electric siren continuing to wind down when not powered. Or like a bike freewheel, like what HDN said. Most hand crank sirens do that
Now that I think of it, the bike freewheel thing does make sense. Thanks.ThatGuy2020 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:32 pmSimilar concept of a siren continuing to wind down when not powered. Or like a bike, like what HDN said. Most hand crank sirens do that
Say that to HDN, he’s the one who said it firstFanman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:35 pmNow that I think of it, the bike freewheel thing does make sense. Fair point. And do you own this siren? I’ve always wondered how loud these small hand crank ones are. Is it worthy of headphones?
Yes I own one, and in my opinion, it's loud, but not loud enough to have to use ear protection. I may be wrong, but when I use my siren, I go to the same pitch as a Sentry 10v so not its max output.ThatGuy2020 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 4:35 pmFair point. And do you own this siren?
