I've created a map of sirens in Japan which are mainly speakers that plays music around 5-6 PM daily.

Neat map! I like the concept of using pins, however. This is just a suggestion: use regular pins instead of icons. Once you start hitting the 10K+ mark, it could start lagging quite a bit. Also don't get confused with Fire Radio, they use similar equipment to the stuff used on the Slave/Substations in the Disaster Prevention Radio system. Anyways best of luck with mapping the entire country!
