Chatham, NY Penetrator

Sun Jan 26, 2025 4:26 pm

I finally found Chatham, NY’s ACA rotating siren. It is up on a hill behind a trailer park. It is 8 port, and has a lower tone so I am guessing it is a single phase unit and likely a P-10. Definitely has a very nice sound to it and reverberates off the hills!

That platform seems quite big compared to the siren. I wonder how much that affects its sound if someone's standing nearby while it's running.

A friend of mine lives in that town and mentioned hearing a siren. I was wondering what they had!

I have a video in my library, but it’s only letting me upload photos for some reason…
