so ever since I was 5 i've seen this sterling siren, its beside a fire dept so its a fire siren, I've confirmed it as a sterling because I saw "sterling fire alarm"or something like that engraved in the side.

That's indeed a 5VX. I remember stumbling upon it while mapping out Nova Scotia and being surprised to find one all the way out there.

wait isn't the cone top rare or something? i've looked through photos online and can't find any with the cone top.

I'm pretty sure the cone itself was made by the fire department.
