possibly my first time filming a siren, any advice.

so this weekend i am attending a party at the local fire brigade and have been told that if they get a callout i can go and film their fire siren going off,
now they have hearing protection already at the station. red arrow is the deck in which i will be filming from. and the black arrow is the siren pole. the siren is a british 10/12 port carter siren mounted on a 35ft tall pole about 10ft away from the deck, when it goes off will it be unbeareble through hearing protection or will it be a safety concern aka me losing my hearing.

it would probably be safe with the hearing protection, I went to sirencon with hearing protection and it was ok.
EDIT: at sirencon you would be at least 10 feet away from the siren

I also think hearing protection is good because when I hear the 130 where I live I use hearing protection and I’m across the street from it….

always try to be quiet during the windup and wind down (your camera could pick up your voice).
