Kuna Idaho Fedelcode long legs model 2

Good morning/afternoon everyone. I have some interesting news, yesterday I found out the the new historical society building had gotten possession of the siren and siren drivers. but later I will be posting some photos later of the siren being grounded.

This one, it got removed late last July and is currently in the historical society.

That siren is actually a Federal Enterprises Model 2, as it features a small cap at the top, which the Federal Electric/Fedelcode era Model 2s lack. This is also a later Enterprises unit because it uses one brush for each side instead of the two brushes per side found in the older Federal Electric/Fedelcode Model 2s.

I see, so aren’t federal signal and federal electric the same company? I say this because of the results of images on google

Made in July 1952 going by the serial number on the housing.

So this siren would have been installed roughly around the same time as the Chrysler siren in Boise? (Removed)
