MIni ACA CODED hurricane

Fri Apr 04, 2025 1:57 pm

I am making a CODED ACA hurricane! I am using a shop vac motor with a different shop vac as a blower! it is made with my Bambu labs P1S. I don't have the solenoids yet, but does anyone have an AF timer I could use? What material should I buy? It is 110v. i might head to WSS over the summer to get parts, and possibly get my own full scale siren.

Update

The original 3.5 HP motors bolt is stuck, rendering it useless. Luckily, I have a spare shopvac to use as a motor. I have a mattress inflator which I will use as a blower. Once it is finished, I will release the STLs. it is very far from finished. I only have the chopper and stator modeled. I need a lot of advice.

I can’t provide much advice but I will say however to make sure your motor has 3,000+ rpm. That way it will be loud. I am curious however what the cone will be made out of.

Update 2: the second shopvac had the same thing happen. I need a new motor. Also coded mk1.
