Lake Catherine AR round-back 2001s

Recently I was told about a rather obscure siren system in my home state, the Lake Catherine Entergy siren system. The system of seven 2001s was installed in the late '80s and was decommissioned not long after because of "poor coverage". I don't know much about the history of this system, and I would be curious to hear more about it from anyone who might know something. Any bit of information matters to me, and I'd appreciate any input.
