EDITED: 5/23/2025

Oofta is right. I am wondering how many edits this post will have. Evidence is quickly building that an entire system replacement is in the works. This is a list of the what is presently left of the original system.

Inglewood Southeast SRN
State Lakes Thunderbolt (Amazingly...)
North XT22 (Amazingly...)

All of the other sirens (which were all SRNs) have been directly replaced with 130s.

As of 5/8/2025: NEW INSTALL due to lack of coverage. New 130 at the 16th and Park Fire Station along the east side.

Found 5/23/2025: New 130 which was installed in Spring 2024 at the Bluestem Apartment Complex, at the end of 34th Blvd.

EDIT: 5/8/2025: The only possible background info I can find, the City of Fremont approved five new sirens to be installed LAST YEAR. (According to what very little I could get out of the Fremont Tribune, that happened LAST YEAR.) There is ZERO explanation for why all of the SRNs are suddenly being directly replaced. In any case BVPS is moving like it has the green light now that Sarpy County is done with their mod, and at an alarming (no pun intended) rate as well.

Anyone else have a bad feeling about this? I have a feeling the days of the Thunderbolt especially are seriously numbered, and am highly doubtful any of these would survive, at least knowing what Sarpy County went through. I hope I'm wrong, but, it certainly appears that Fremont may be all 130s in the very near future. I only am in Fremont a few times a month, mostly visiting people or for errands, but, next time I'm up, I know a check on these will be needed.

Also, at some point, I need to find where the three remaining BVPS installs from 2024 would be located. That will require some digging on archive sites to see if I can find some issues of the tribune, but, that can wait for now.

ADDENDUM: 5/27/2025. I found some pertinent information as to how this started. Although I do not believe this is the final result. Further investigation required. I have a theory though on why the SRNs are being replaced. I have a bad feeling especially about the XT22, but I’m still worried about their Thunderbolt as well.
