New Info on La Vale sirens

Fri Jan 04, 2008 11:41 pm

Yes Ladies and Gents, I'm back. And I haven't slouched on the research either

I was talking to one of my friends father while watching the WVU vs. OU game and got some more info on the La Vale sirens.

First off. The 3t22. I found out that the 3T22 was bought NEW from Federal Signal, year is still unknown at this time. It is in fact a 3 phase siren and since it's first installation, has been relocated 2 times. The first location was on top of Station 2. Residents began to complain about the siren cracking their foundations, so it was relocated up the hill. Again, residents complained of it being TOO loud, so it was relocated to it's current home right outside of LOWES. The Siren is radio activated

Second: Station 1 Siren is indeed a Sterling M-5 Siren which was bought BRAND NEW and currently a radio reciever activates a Federal Signal AR Timer which is hooked up to it. This is because if the 3t22 AR timer goes bad, they can switch if necessary.
